Massage Therapy

Massage is one of the most effective and enjoyable forms of therapy available. Using touch as therapy amounts to creating a healing experience that is felt by the client as pleasurable and effective. It stimulates circulation, expedites elimination of toxins, and can greatly improve many common conditions, including sore muscles, bad posture, restricted range of movement, etc. It can also help with poor digestion, sleep disorders, hormonal imbalance, depression, and many other conditions.

There are many different types of massage and bodywork. Swedish massage is basic massage using basic strokes. Deep tissue massage addresses therapeutic issues, fatigued muscles, and provides more pressure to those who prefer deep work. Reflexology uses the reflex zones of the body (mainly feet and hands) to target trouble areas and provide relief to the targeted organs, ending with a pleasurable foot massage. These are the three main types of massage that I use in my practice. In addition, I always incorporate some form of energy work to insure that the experience is in accordance with the objectives of the “higher self” or soul level of the person.
