Today, our Full Moon is a lunar eclipse taking place in the axis of information, communication and knowledge, with the Moon in Gemini and the Sun in Sagittarius. The first of a pair of eclipses that will bring to a close this epic year 2020, it can be seen as a "bringer of information," specifically having to do with destiny and the consequences of our actions, as it is paired with the Nodes of the Moon, also in the Gemini/Sagittarius axis. The more information we have, the better choices we can make, right? Yes... and no. It so happens that we are being bombarded with information, much of which is actually disinformation - so how do we discern between what is true and what isn't?
Truth, although it can be thought of as an absolute, is subject to personal interpretation of "facts" (which are supposedly true by nature), which makes it all the more difficult to discern. How we interpret data, whether purely through the intellect or by using a wider scope including intuition, emotion and body response, will also determine what we consider to be "true". Some would argue that facts cannot be determined using anything other than intellect - however, Einstein himself praised intuition as a primary tool for scientific inquiry:
“I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.” Albert Eistein
What does Mercury, the planet of the mind, have to say about that? In Scorpio, he is still diving into the deep waters of our psyche, looking for information that cannot be found at the surface level of the intellect. This information will be felt as body sensation or emotion, and depending on how much we have been cut off from our emotions through trauma and social conditioning, we may not recognize this as information and routinely dismiss it as "just a feeling", ignoring what our psyche has been trying to tell us for a very long time. The more we block or disregard these feelings, the less they will happen, but the deeper they go into our bodies, creating physical illness and disease. The body is extremely intelligent, contrary to the beliefs the medical model has imposed upon Western society, and if we pay attention to its signals, we can create perfect health for ourselves... as long as we are willing to do the hard work of interpreting what those signals mean and implementing necessary changes in lifestyle and attitude. All the therapeutics in the world cannot bring health to someone who engages in destructive habits or whose attitudes toward life and towards themselves are negative.
Which brings us to the other opposition in this chart (the first one being the Full Moon, of course): Venus opposite Uranus. Gaia's son/consort, Uranus, is currently transitioning through Taurus, Venus' own sign of Earth and abundance. He likes to shine a spotlight and give illuminating glimpses into possibilities, sometimes bringing into focus things we might rather have kept in the dark. Taurus represents the physical plane: our bodies, our environment, our resources. It is ruled by Venus, who - in Scorpio - in this chart is ruled by Mars, the one who will have the final say in all this. Her mission right now is to uncover the personal trauma, including lies and disinformation, that was internalized in order to survive. Uranus, with his lightning-flash illumination gives us sudden realizations about our core values and beliefs, particularly involving relationships with ourselves and others.
These two oppositions are working in tandem to bring awareness to the mental, emotional and physical signals that are always present but that we tend to ignore, very often caught up in our struggles to survive one reality or another. What are they telling us? What do I believe, about myself and about the world? What is vitally important to my well-being at this time? These are questions we could be asking ourselves, putting aside our tendency to disregard the innate wisdom of our physical bodies and emotions, to "power through" or cover up discomfort and pain using drugs or alcohol, and instead just listen to what they are telling us. We may not be able to access this wisdom immediately, but with practice we learn to discern what our bodies, minds and hearts are telling us.
Mars in Aries, now beginning to pick up speed after his two-month journey retrograde, is working with the Nodes to redefine the notions of self, autonomy and sovereignty. Without others we do not exist - and yet if we allow others (or an authority figure) to decide what is best for us, or impose their ideas, we disrespect our personal sovereignty and give up our right to make decisions about our own health and well-being. No one other than myself, including (and especially) governments, should be authorized to decide what is best for my or my children's health. Chiron in Aries fully supports this idea of autonomy and sovereignty, and will go to extreme lengths to preserve the individual against the tyranny of governments and those who have taken the power away from the people.
This year, every planet that is capable of retrograde motion went retrograde, giving us ample time to reflect upon the situation we found ourselves in. The lockdowns have forced many of us to rethink our lives and come up with creative solutions, and/or rise up to speak our minds about the draconian measures that many countries are imposing upon their populations. Unfortunately countless people across the globe have lost their lives, not so much because of a virus, but more because of the despondency and suicides resulting from the lock-downs. Most of the small businesses that survived the first lockdown will probably not survive the second one, while large companies like Amazon and Costco, that have been allowed to stay open from the beginning, are making record profits this year. Thankfully, the Supreme Court just ruled in favor of worshippers being able to gather in NY, against Gov. Cuomo's orders. Why are these lockdowns allowed to continue while so many are suffering from them, losing lives and livelihoods?
Neptune and Pluto may be able to give us answers to that question. In his own sign of Pisces, Neptune has brought about an extended period of opening portals of awareness and connection to the Source of all. However, some of his negative attributes have to do with illusion - he has been spinning a veil being wielded by those who wish to curb this awakening process in order to control humanity, by conjuring up images that incite fear, divisiveness and anger, all of which keep us at a lower frequency and impede the awakening. At odds with the Nodes of the Moon, the god of the Sea is challenging us to see through this veil and step into our purpose of creating a New Earth (not to be confused with New World Order, allegedly a nefarious plan by a globalist elite to take over the planet).
As for Pluto, his role is much simpler: since 2008 he has been in Capricorn, the sign of global power structures and hierarchy, where he has been dismantling piece by piece the parts of the global economic and governmental systems that no longer serve the best interests of humanity. It may not always be evident, but beginning with the financial crash in 2008, Pluto's path through Capricorn has brought to light the widespread corruption in the most powerful institutions of the world, such as the International Monetary Fund, the Global Economic Forum, the Bank of Settlements, etc. The Vatican, the Royals and elite families like the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers are potentially behind this corruption and might be implicated in the greatest fight of all time, the battle for our souls.
This battle is being waged by left-leaning globalist elite who have been successful up until recently at staying hidden. These are the people who own the media and are pushing a certain narrative, censoring anyone who questions it (the darker side of Neptune...). They purport that the only possible way for humanity to be saved from this "deadly" virus is to wear masks, the effectiveness of which is questionable, to stay 6 feet apart and to take a vaccine that is not only made of highly controversial ingredients, but is capable of tracking and DNA modification. All of this is leading to what the globalists call the Great Reset, which they are planning to have fully in place by 2030. In other words, these people are planning to reduce the world population, remove access to travel, money and other resources in the absence of proof of vaccination, implant artificial intelligence via the vaccine and be able to control our thoughts and behavior from a computer. Sound Orwellian? This goes way beyond 1984 - welcome to the Brave New World.
Capricorn is the sign of government, big business and the way that populations are handled. The original intent of Capricorn is to make sure that everyone gets through the winter by rationing provisions and offering a structure for the collective to lean on during difficult times. At some point this intent was co-opted into the idea that only certain individuals belonging to the elite class had the right to manage and determine the fate of humanity, staging wars, genocides and famines to cull populations and control governments.
The idea that an elite class that rules over us all is not new. The Sumerian tablets tell the story of powerful gods that humans were beholden to, enslaved to provide them with the services they required as the patriarchal creators of the human race. Six thousand years of this kind of tyranny can easily make us forget that we are powerful sovereign beings who have no use for elite bullies telling us what we can and cannot do. More recently, the last time Pluto was in Capricorn was - you may have guessed it - during the American Revolution. Our forefathers stood up the the crown bullies and decided to create a nation based on the Aquarian values of We the People. Ever since then, the United States of America have been looked up to and seen as a shining example of liberty and justice for all, that many nations can only dream of. We are being asked to stand up for our rights once again as human beings, not just for this country but for the entire planet.
Fortunately, the planets are on the side of those who just want to live in harmony with one another and the Earth, and will not support the nefarious agenda that is being rolled out before our very eyes. Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter have been aligned in a close stellium in Capricorn for most of the year, in and out of retrogrades - this configuration has been the hallmark of this formidable year 2020, beginning with the much dreaded Pluto-Saturn conjunction on January 12th. These powerhouse planets in the powerful sign of Capricorn have been presaged to foreshadow a very dark time indeed, which has been confirmed by the events we have seen take place throughout this year. However, we will be getting a glimpse of the coming "Golden Age" this December 21st, when Saturn and Jupiter finally move out of Capricorn to meet at 0º Aquarius on the Winter Solstice. There is still much work to be done to ensure that the values of life, liberty and happiness for all beings will be honored, as we move away from division and strife and towards mutual respect, compassion and caring. This can only happen when we all finally agree to help one another rather than waging war and supporting the slave economy that we have experienced for thousands of years.
Today's full moon lunar eclipse and the new moon solar eclipse in two weeks mark an important window of opportunity for alignment with the higher forces of Love and Unity for the entire human race. Our thoughts and intentions will be magnified and the prayers we offer up to the universe will reverberate far and wide. May we all join forces to release old patterns and programs that no longer serve us, thus creating Heaven on Earth and the Golden Age of Abundance for All.
