Full Moon in Sagittarius, June 11th, 2025

This full Moon in Sagittarius is rife with challenging aspects and yet there is a sense of fate or destiny, perhaps like an initiation of sorts, that we must endure in order to get to the next level. We're standing in a Mutable Grand Cross involving the Sun, Moon, and the Lunar Nodes in Pisces and Virgo. This signals a crucible moment: a turning point between the stories we tell ourselves, the beliefs we've inherited, and the future we're longing to claim.

The Gemini-Sagittarius axis asks us to discern between information and wisdom, between scattered facts and a unified philosophy of life. Meanwhile, the Pisces-Virgo nodal axis activates old karmic patterns around service, healing, escapism, and embodiment. This is a crossroads—where illusions fall apart and deeper truths emerge.

Just two days ago, Jupiter - the ruler of this full Moon -  entered Cancer, shifting our collective expansion into the emotional, ancestral, and intuitive realms. This shift brings a soulful, heart-centered emphasis to Jupiter's expansive nature.

But it's not a gentle passage—Jupiter is immediately thrown into a tense square with Saturn and Neptune in Aries, along with Mercury, whose presence in Cancer can muddy communication and bring confusion, misinformation, or overly romantic thinking. It’s a time to double-check your perceptions and not let idealism cloud what your body or intuition already knows.

Meanwhile, Mars in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus, igniting rebellion, restlessness, and the need to liberate oneself from stifling routines or values. This aspect can also bring unexpected disruptions or flashes of insight that force us out of our comfort zones. This transit is fiery and volatile—perfect for breaking through inertia but also prone to rash action or ego flare-ups. Creative breakthroughs are possible, but only if we stay grounded in the heart.

Add to that Pluto in Aquarius squaring Venus in Taurus, and we’re called to deeply reassess how power, love, safety, and value interweave in our lives. In other words, we may be digging up power dynamics around love, money, and worth. Deep emotional truths may surface in relationships or around your values. It’s a powerful moment to transform limiting beliefs around intimacy, receptivity, and what you truly deserve.

The reality on the ground in the US and abroad seems to accurately reflect the tensions that are very present in this chart. Fortunately, Mars and Chiron are conspiring - in a very close trine aspect to one another - to help us make this passage one that heals the ego and quells the fire a bit… because fire there is in this chart! Of the 10 planets and one asteroid represented here, almost half (5) are in Fire signs. Not to mention the many squares (9), which are of the nature of Mars, and therefore fiery as well.

At the same time, Pluto - from his lofty Aquarian outpost - urges the Neptune/Saturn duo in Aries to please consider diplomacy when dealing with wounded egos, and listen to Jupiter and Mercury’s call for the recognition of our collective wounding. This is not a time to fan the flames and fall into the trap of escalation, but rather use compassion and emotional intelligence to recover our balance and find our way on the path to individual and collective wholeness.
