This Full Moon is resonating deeply with the themes of Freedom, Independence and We the People. It speaks of a journey we all embarked upon eons ago, and more recently 7 months ago, when Saturn and Jupiter came together in Aquarius. They formed a brilliant star in the western skies, portending the destiny of the Human family to come together and live in harmony with one another, with ourselves and with the sublime Creation that surrounds us and supports us. Every cell of our body is calling for this experience of Oneness and harmony, and yet it continues to evade us... perhaps because we refuse to acknowledge the divinity within ourselves and each other.
This full Moon, at 1º Aquarius - the very same degree where Jupiter and Saturn formed their beacon of light on the winter solstice last December - is a call. A call to action and a call to remember our freedom. If ever there was a time to stand up in integrity, speak our truth and express our sovereignty in the face of social and medical tyranny, it is now. Those who search the truth behind what has been our reality for the past 18 months are ridiculed and sidelined by the narrative. Fueled by fear and based on dodgy science, division and greed, this is a narrative that wants us all to conform and obey. It is one where those who choose natural remedies to cure a disease with a 99.9% rate of recovery rather than take an injection the longterm effects of which are unknown and which, according to the CDC's website, has already officially killed over 7000 people in the US alone, are being called murderers. Yes, the man who is supposedly holding the highest office of the land , the "most powerful man on the planet", is cowering before healthy Americans who do not feel the need to take an experimental injection, and says that we are the only pandemic there is. The absurdity of this is astounding.
Over the past few weeks we have seen several potent aspects: Mars opposite Saturn, Sun opposite Pluto and Venus conjunct Mars. We have also seen, at the mundane level of human affairs, an uptick in protests and riots all over the world. Millions in the streets of England and France, speaking out against more lockdowns and a vaccine passport that makes people who choose not to vaccinate into pariahs. For some it is much worse, in South Africa where riots have destroyed lives and the means of delivering food to the people, and in Cuba, where Cubans are running from a corrupt government that kills those who disobey and abducts children into the military against their parents' will. In the US, we are fortunately not in such dire straights, and yet the censorship of those who disagree with the mainstream narrative is maligning and dividing Americans, creating fear and distrust, and a cancel culture that will cancel you if you don't agree.
At the same time, there is an incredibly beautiful undercurrent happening, of people coming together to create spaces of Love, living in harmony and alignment with our highest good. New tribes are forming, and projects based on cooperation and compassion abound. We are finding our way in a society that is crumbling around us, and the world is asking us to step up to the plate and guide one another on the road to our future as it unfolds in mysterious and wonderful ways before us. Venus and Mars rang their bells together in Leo on July 13th, and although Venus is now in Virgo, the splendor of their meeting, the coming together of the sacred masculine and the sacred feminine, is still reverberating through the skies.
This is underscored by what you see in this chart, with Jupiter and Venus, the Benefics, in an opposition that feels very complementary, in service to the higher good. Jupiter, in his own sign of Pisces, is the benevolent king of the oceans, welcoming all to his domaine while Venus in Virgo ties up loose ends in relationships and makes sure that all are accounted for. The auspicious quality of this aspect and the likelihood of fortunate circumstances, coincidences and synchronicities are very high. And to underline the romantic potential of this formation, the Neptune - Mercury trine in water signs encourages our muses to come out from under the shadows of judgement and frolic freely, create songs and dance to our hearts delight.
These are very potent times. We are learning how to navigate the waters of a new society that cares about its people, nurtures the gifts that each of us brings to the table and is a viable bridge into the Age of Aquarius. It is becoming clearer as each day goes by, that we must create the world we want to live in, because the one we thought we were in is no more.
