New Moon in Taurus, April 27th, 2025

Reclaiming Ground: Spirit, Sovereignty, and the Sacred Earth

This month’s New Moon in Taurus arrives like a still point in a storm—anchored in Earth, yet charged with cosmic electricity. Co-present with  Uranus, while squaring both Mars in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius, this lunation is anything but peaceful on the surface. Beneath the tension lies a sacred opportunity: the possibility of deep-rooted change that honors both the individual soul’s integrity and the collective longing for peace.

Uranus also finds himself in a position to illuminate and electrify our spiritual identity in service to the highest good.

A Mythic Showdown: Mars vs. Pluto

Playing arbitrator for a very tense showdown between the god of war (Mars) and the god of death and transformation (Pluto), this New Moon in Taurus is working to relieve tension and resolve conflict between the will of one group of people—fueled by anger, fear and the need to control the populace—and a global populist movement that wants peace and the recognition of their God-given human rights.

The T-square with Mars and Pluto evokes seismic power struggles. Mars in Leo blazes with pride, charisma, and the impulse to dominate, while Pluto in Aquarius dredges up systemic shadows and reveals how technology, institutions, and ideologies have been used to manipulate or suppress. Taurus—embodied, sensory, and sovereign—steps in not to fight, but to reclaim the ground beneath our feet. This is about healing through presence, simplicity, and conscious choice.

Uranus & The Soul's Alignment

Uranus, co-present with this lunation and in a sextile with Venus, Saturn and the North Node, underscores the transformative nature of this full Moon, and directs our attention towards spiritual discipline, prayer and the importance of aligning our souls with our higher purpose. Dissatisfaction can play a role in coming to terms with feelings of spiritual disconnectedness, pushing us to inquire about subjects like faith and trusting the flow of the Universe.

These supporting sextiles act like quiet guides—subtle, but immensely powerful. Uranus in Taurus urges awakening through the body, through nature, and through radical self-respect. The North Node in Pisces points us toward surrender, compassion, and the path of soul-alignment, while Saturn’s involvement brings the discipline needed to embody higher truths in our everyday lives. Venus shows us how to trust the Universe to bring us what we desire, as long as our heart aligns with our soul's purpose.

This is a moment to listen inwardly, and recognize that spiritual revolution begins with reclaiming our right to feel, to rest, and to reorient toward what is holy.

Uranus in Taurus

In one of his last major aspects just prior to his ingress into Gemini, Uranus is in a sextile with Venus, Saturn and the North Node, all in Pisces. Uranus is the awakener, the liberator, the disruptor—and in earthy, sensual Taurus, it challenges us to redefine what is truly secure and valuable. It brings innovation to how we relate to our bodies, the Earth, resources, and even pleasure. In Taurus, Uranus says: “Real freedom is rooted.”

So when Saturn, Venus, and the North Node form sextiles to Uranus, that electricity is channeled, stabilized, and even divinely guided. However, because these are sextiles, we must do the work to offer our intentions to use these energies to our highest and greatest good.

Saturn in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus

This is a blend of structure and awakening—a rare invitation to make change sustainable. Saturn in Pisces wants to build containers for the mystical, the intuitive, and the ineffable. When it harmonizes with Uranus, the result is a bridge between the spiritual and the tangible. We are consciously integrating spiritual insight into tangible reality.

This aspect says:

“You can commit to your soul’s liberation. You can create form around your intuition. Spiritual discipline will ground your awakening.”

It’s especially supportive for anyone trying to manifest spiritual or creative visions, or build a path that honors both freedom and responsibility.

Venus in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus

Venus is exalted in Pisces—she expresses her highest frequency here: unconditional love, beauty, compassion, and divine artistry. In harmony with Uranus in Taurus, also ruled by Venus, this can bring:

  • Unexpected blessings or heart openings

  • Sudden insight in relationships or financial healing

  • Creative breakthroughs with a mystical or healing quality

  • Deep sensual pleasure that feels transcendent and soul-connected

This transit whispers:

“Love is liberation. Beauty is medicine. Let yourself be moved by grace.”

It’s also an incredibly fertile, artistic, and spiritually romantic energy.

North Node in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus

This adds a karmic and evolutionary dimension. The North Node represents our collective and personal growth edge—the direction our soul is meant to evolve toward. In Pisces, the invitation is to:

  • Trust the divine

  • Practice compassion and forgiveness

  • Surrender control

  • Develop a more fluid, heart-centered way of being

Trining Uranus, we’re being liberated from old karmic patterns around scarcity, fear, and over-control. There’s a sense of being guided toward spiritual sovereignty—a peaceful, intuitive alignment with what’s real and true.

This transit says:

“Your liberation is your destiny. The Universe is conspiring to help you awaken with grace.”

Together, these sextiles offer an unusually harmonious, gentle path through what could otherwise feel like chaotic or destabilizing change. They suggest:

  • Spiritual breakthroughs that last

  • Emotional healing through grounded, practical rituals

  • Aligned relationships and heart-centered values guiding us forward

  • Divine timing supporting real-world transformation

Mars-Neptune: Passion Meets Mysticism

The combative, proud nature of Mars in Leo is softened somewhat by a trine aspect with Neptune in Aries, although this could also indicate religious fervor and even fanaticism.

There’s a double-edged sword here: Mars trine Neptune can inspire spiritual courage, visionary leadership, and a surge of creative fire. But it can also seduce the ego into believing it’s acting on divine will. In this moment, humility is key. The energy is ripe for spiritual awakening, but also for spiritual delusion. The question becomes: Is my passion aligned with divine truth, or personal glory?

Anchoring in Presence: A Healing Message

"This is a time to commit to the practices that allow you to feel safe in your body and energy field—even amidst the chaos of transformation. The New Moon in Taurus asks us to root into presence, nourish our nervous system, and re-attune to what truly sustains us. "Change doesn't have to be violent; it can be an act of devotion to your becoming."
